Dr. Richmond is a nationally recognized expert in primary immune deficiencies such as common variable immune deficiency (CVID).  Dr. Richmond is also an area wide expert in asthma and other allergic diseases. Doctor Richmond is a past president of the Illinois Society of Allergy Asthma and Immunology and has sreved on the Continuing Education Committee and the Executive Board.  He was an Assistant Professor at Rush Medical College, Chicago, IL for 17 years including 12 years as clinical director of the Allergy and Immunology Department.  Doctor Richmond spent 8 years in private practice at Oakbrook Allergists before joining our practice. 

Dr. Richmond completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center, Chicago, IL.  He has authored several articles in peer-reviewed journals including the New England Journal of Medicine.  Doctor Richmond has also authored several textbook chapters including the chapters on Allergy and Clinical Immunology in both Bone, R.J. textbook of Internal Medicine and the World Book Encyclopedia. Doctor Richmond has staff privileges at Hinsdale Hospital, LaGrange Hospital, Elmhurst Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Central DuPage Hospital, Edward Hospital, and MacNeal Hospital.
